Love the recipes in here. Just some constructive criticism to improve: It needs to be proof read better because there’s a ton of errors that make some recipes harder to understand, especially if you’re not a seasoned cook and can’t assume what the writer means. Also, it leaves out quite a few small details in recipes, leaving you with questions. For example in the chicken and rice dish it says to add rice into insta pot, but doesn’t specify if the rice should be cooked or not first; so if you’re not a more experienced cook little things like that make some of these recipes very difficult to make and understand. Also, the cook book leaves out some meals they offer on the website. Would love if I could have recipes to all mama meals recipes if I’m purchasing the recipe book. Overall a good recipe guide/cook book though and I love how nutrient dense recipes are.
This resource is 100% worth it! I am having so much fun stocking my freezer myself! Looking forward to eating the nourishing and warming meals! It even tells you what containers they recommend and how to defrost and reheat! Love love love!! Pictured is my blueberry/banana chia oatmeal congee!
DELICIOUS!
Food is nourishing and wonderful.
Loved it during postpartum and even when I went back to work. Starting feeding my baby some too.
It’s really wholesome and feels good. I ordered the PDF and love that I can make things from home now. Thanks Holly for feeding me when I needed it most. Ps. Add this service on your baby registry!
I could eat this for every meal! I’m pretty picky but I must say Mama meals chicken congee is so delicious. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. I got sick and I swear her helped me heal faster. The meals are so filling, hearty, and you can taste that she uses the freshest ingredients.
These recipes have been everything for baby #3! Started making them in the weeks prepping for his arrival and they were all so nourishing and soul filling! We welcomed our little guy fast and furious style at home and had all the nourishment prepped for my first post birth meal. Mother’s nourishment and care is such a missing link in todays societal norm, so grateful for Holly and Mama Meals working so hard to break this chain and bring us home to tradition. 🖤
