21 Tips to Reduce Swelling during Pregnancy (Your Top Answers!)
We crowdsourced our Instagram for tips on minor low level swelling during pregnancy, and below are your answers, plus my personal recommendations which are removing gluten and lots of walking! My feet were SO puffy and swollen and in my first pregnancy, and I realized in my second, that gluten was the main culprit. I tested it a few times that pregnancy and realized that was causing it. I also noticed if I sat on a barstool for long time, or stood in the same spot for a long time (like standing at the counter cooking for a long period of time) also contributed to it. This pregnancy I've stayed gluten free and kept myself moving and I've had no puffiness or swelling! Those are the two things that have worked for me personally, and below are your tips from our Instagram community!
We have not personally vetted all of these as pregnancy safe and these are not medical advice. Please check with your provider if you’re experiencing swelling and edema!
